Friendship Christian (TN)

Young, but mighty. Last year – that might have been the case … but this year it is certainly the case. Last year the region wrestlers consisted of 3 sophomores, 4 freshman, and an 8th grader. Two of them – Chase Eakes and Tyson Wolcott – made the Division 2 State Tournament podium (each finished 5th). If Eakes and Wolcott can make the podium again in 2022 and Lavinece Jackson, Aiden Caron, and Aaron Lane can book their ticket to Franklin in February … Friendship Christian will begin to make some noise.

If Friendship Christian can continue to develop their young talent – this program is only going to get better over time. Keep an eye on freshman heavyweight CarLando Barton, Channing Anthony and others.
